Terms of Service
- The customer must obtain all necessary permissions from the Resident Association or apartment management before the moving date. If there are any restrictions (late evening, early morning, or other timing limitations) at either the loading or unloading location, the customer must inform Pro Cochin Packers & Movers in advance.
- Scope of Work: Quotation includes packing, loading, transportation, and unloading, unless otherwise mentioned. AC, wardrobe, and cot dismantling/fitting will be completed within 1–3 days after unloading.
- The carrier and its agents are not liable for loss or damage caused by accidents, fire, natural disasters, or other road hazards. We recommend that customers insure their goods before transportation.
- Any local union issues at the loading or unloading location shall be handled by the customer.
- Payment Terms:
- Part Load: 100% payment at pickup.
- Full Load: 70% payment at pickup and 30% upon delivery.
- Transportation of potted plants is subject to space availability and will be carried entirely at the owner’s risk.
- While requesting a quotation, customers should provide the estimated number of corrugated boxes required. If unsure, they may send photos of the items, and our team will estimate the approximate number of boxes needed.
- Transportation of hazardous materials, cash/currency, illegal drugs, precious metals, firearms, explosives, and items prohibited under the Wildlife Protection Act or any other applicable law is strictly prohibited.
Documents Required for Moving
- A self-written “Not for Sale” Declaration Letter.
- In certain cases, a certificate from the Village Officer or Revenue Officer confirming that the goods are personal belongings and Not for Sale.
